உபாகமம் 20:7 Deuteronomy 20:7

ஒரு பெண்ணைத் தனக்கு நிச்சயம் செய்துகொண்டு, அவளைத் திருமணம்செய்யாதிருக்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவன் தன் வீட்டுக்குத் திரும்பிப்போகக்கடவன்; அவன் போரிலே இறந்தால் வேறொருவன் அவளைத் திருமணம்செய்ய வேண்டியதாகும் என்று சொல்லவேண்டும்.

Has any man become pledged to a woman and not married her? Let him return home, or he may die in battle and another man marry her.”
