தன் சிறையிருப்பின் ஆடையையும் நீக்கி, உன் வீட்டிலிருந்து, ஒரு மாதம்வரை தன் தகப்பனையும் தாயையும் நினைத்துத் துக்கம்கொண்டாடக்கடவள்; அதன்பின்பு நீ அவளுடன் சேர்ந்து, அவளுக்குக் கணவனாயிரு, அவள் உனக்கு மனைவியாயிருப்பாள்.

and put aside the clothing of her captivity. After she has lived in your house a full month and mourned her father and mother, you may have relations with her and be her husband, and she shall be your wife.
