நீ எகிப்திலே அடிமையாயிருந்ததையும், உன் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா உன்னை அங்கேயிருந்து மீட்டுக்கொண்டுவந்ததையும் நினைப்பாயாக; ஆகையால், இப்படிச் செய்யும்படி நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிறேன்.

Remember that you were slaves in Egypt, and the LORD your God redeemed you from that place. Therefore I am commanding you to do this.
