உபாகமம் 25:2 Deuteronomy 25:2

குற்றவாளி அடிக்கப்பட தண்டனை பெற்றால், நியாயாதிபதி அவனைக் கீழே படுக்கச்செய்து, அவன் குற்றத்திற்குத்தக்கதாகத் தனக்கு முன்பாகக் கணக்கின்படி அவனை அடிப்பிக்கக்கடவன்.

If the guilty man deserves to be beaten, the judge shall have him lie down and be flogged in his presence with the number of lashes his crime warrants.
