மறுநாளில் மோசே மக்களை நோக்கி: “நீங்கள் மகா பெரிய பாவம் செய்தீர்கள்; உங்களுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யக்கூடுமோ என்று அறிய இப்பொழுது நான் யெகோவாவினிடத்திற்கு ஏறிப்போகிறேன்” என்றான்.

The next day Moses said to the people, “You have committed a great sin. Now I will go up to the LORD; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.”
