ஆபிராம் அந்த தேசத்தில் சுற்றித்திரிந்து சீகேம் என்னும் இடத்திற்கு அருகிலுள்ள மோரே என்னும் சமபூமிவரைக்கும் வந்தான்; அந்தக் காலத்திலே கானானியர்கள் அந்த தேசத்தில் இருந்தார்கள்.
