தேசத்து மக்கள் கேட்க, எப்பெரோனை நோக்கி: “கொடுப்பதற்கு உமக்கு மனதிருந்தால் என் வார்த்தையைக் கேளும்; நிலத்தின் விலையைத் தருகிறேன்; என் கையில் அதை வாங்கிக்கொள்ளும்; அப்பொழுது என்னிடத்திலிருக்கிற உடலை அந்த இடத்தில் அடக்கம் செய்வேன்” என்றான்.

and said to Ephron in their presence, “If you will please listen to me, I will pay you the price of the field. Accept it from me, so that I may bury my dead there.”
