பதான் அராமிலே தான் சம்பாதித்த மிருகஜீவன்களாகிய மந்தைகள் அனைத்தையும் தன் பொருட்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, கானான் தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற தன் தகப்பனாகிய ஈசாக்கிடம் போகப் புறப்பட்டான்.
