மனிதர்கள்முதல் மிருகங்கள், ஊரும் பிராணிகள், ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள்வரை, பூமியின்மீது இருந்த உயிருள்ள அனைத்தும் அழிக்கப்பட்டு, அவைகள் பூமியில் இல்லாமல் ஒழிந்தன; நோவாவும் அவனோடு கப்பலிலிருந்த உயிர்களும் மாத்திரம் காக்கப்பட்டன.

And every living thing on the face of the earth was destroyed—man and livestock, crawling creatures and birds of the air; they were blotted out from the earth, and only Noah and those with him in the ark remained.
