ஏசாயா 58:5 Isaiah 58:5

மனிதன் தன் ஆத்துமாவை ஒடுக்குகிறதும், தலைவணங்கி நாணலைப்போல் சணல் ஆடையிலும் சாம்பலிலும் படுத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறதும், எனக்குப் பிரியமான உபவாச நாளாயிருக்குமோ? இதையா உபவாசமென்றும் யெகோவாவுக்குப் பிரியமான நாளென்றும் சொல்வாய்?

Is this the fast I have chosen: a day for a man to deny himself, to bow his head like a reed, and to spread out sackcloth and ashes? Will you call this a fast and a day acceptable to the LORD?
