இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா தமது மக்களை மேய்க்கிற மேய்ப்பர்களுக்கு விரோதமாகச் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், நீங்கள் என் ஆடுகளைப் பராமரிக்காமல், அவைகளைச் சிதறடித்து அவைகளைச் துரத்திவிட்டீர்கள்; இதோ, நான் உங்கள்பேரில் உங்கள் செய்கைகளின் பொல்லாப்புக்கேற்ற தண்டனையை உங்கள்மேல் வருவிப்பேன் என்று யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.

Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says about the shepherds who tend My people: “You have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your deeds, declares the LORD.
