எரேமியா 3:1 Jeremiah 3:1

ஒருமனிதன் தன் மனைவியைத் தள்ளிவிட, அவள் அவனிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், அந்நிய மனிதனுக்கு மனைவியானால், அவன் அவளிடத்தில் இனித் திரும்பப் போவானோ? அந்த தேசம் மிகவும் தீட்டுப்படுமல்லவோ? என்று மனிதர் சொல்லுவார்கள்; நீயோவென்றால் அநேக நேசருடன் வேசித்தனம்செய்தாய்; ஆகிலும் என்னிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிவா என்று யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.

“If a man divorces his wife and she leaves him to marry another, can he ever return to her? Would not such a land be completely defiled? But you have played the harlot with many lovers— and you would return to Me?” declares the LORD.
