ஆகையால், எகிப்து தேசத்தில் குடியிருக்கிற யூதா மக்களாகிய நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் யெகோவாவுடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்; இதோ, கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவருடைய உயிருள்ள வாக்கு என்று, எகிப்து தேசமெங்கும் ஒரு யூத மனிதன் வாயினாலும் இனி என் பெயர் வழங்கப்படுவதில்லையென்று நான் என் மகத்தான பெயரைக்கொண்டு ஆணையிடுகிறேன் என்று யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.

Nevertheless, hear the word of the LORD, all you people of Judah living in Egypt: Behold, I have sworn by My great name, says the LORD, that never again will any man of Judah living in the land of Egypt invoke My name or say, ‘As surely as the Lord GOD lives.’
