பயிர்வெளியிலும் மோவாப் தேசத்திலுமிருந்து சந்தோஷமும் களிப்பும் நீங்கிப்போனது; திராட்சைரசம் ஆலைகளிலிருந்து பொழிகிறதை ஓயச்செய்தேன்; ஆலையை மிதிக்கிறவர்களின் பாடல் இல்லை; அது ஆரவாரமேயல்லாமல் ஆலை மிதிக்கும் பாடலல்ல.

Joy and gladness are removed from the orchard and from the fields of Moab. I have stopped the flow of wine from the presses; no one treads them with shouts of joy; their shouts are not for joy.
