இவன் இப்படிப் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது, வேறொருவன் வந்து: கல்தேயர் மூன்று குழுக்களாக வந்து, ஒட்டகங்கள்மேல் விழுந்து, அவைகளை ஓட்டிக்கொண்டுபோனார்கள், வேலையாட்களையும் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் வெட்டிப்போட்டார்கள்; நான் ஒருவன் மாத்திரம் தப்பி, அதை உமக்கு அறிவிக்க வந்தேன் என்றான்.

While he was still speaking, another messenger came and reported: “The Chaldeans formed three bands, raided the camels, and took them away. They put the servants to the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you!”
