சீமோன்பேதுருவும் வேறொரு சீடனும் இயேசுவிற்குப் பின்னே சென்றார்கள். அந்தச் சீடன் பிரதான ஆசாரியனுக்கு அறிமுகமானவனாக இருந்ததினால் இயேசுவுடன் பிரதான ஆசாரியனுடைய அரண்மனைக்குள் நுழைந்தான்.
