தேசத்தை வேவுபார்ப்பதற்காக, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களில் சில மனிதர்கள் இந்த ராத்திரியிலே இங்கே வந்தார்கள் என்று எரிகோவின் ராஜாவுக்கு சொல்லப்பட்டது.
