ஆகையால் ஏழாம் நாளிலே பொழுது போகுமுன்னே, அந்த ஊர் மனிதர்கள் அவனைப் பார்த்து: தேனைப்பார்க்கிலும் மதுரமானது என்ன, சிங்கத்தைப்பார்க்கிலும் பலமானதும் என்ன என்றார்கள்; அதற்கு அவன்: நீங்கள் என் கிடாரியால் உழாதிருந்தீர்களானால், என்னுடைய விடுகதையைக் கண்டுபிடிப்பதில்லை என்றான்.

Before sunset on the seventh day, the men of the city said to Samson: “What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion?” So he said to them: “If you had not plowed with my heifer, you would not have solved my riddle!”
