வழிப்போக்கர்கள் அனைவரும் உன்னைப்பார்த்துக் கை கொட்டுகிறார்கள்; மகளாகிய எருசலேமைப்பார்த்து விசிலடித்து, கேலியாக தங்கள் தலைகளை அசைத்து: பூரணவடிவும் உலகத்தின் மகிழ்ச்சியுமான நகரம் இதுதானா என்கிறார்கள்.

All who pass by clap their hands at you in scorn. They hiss and shake their heads at the Daughter of Jerusalem: “Is this the city that was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of all the earth?”
