இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு மறுமொழியாக: நீங்கள் போய், பார்த்தவைகளையும் கேட்டவைகளையும் யோவானுக்கு சொல்லுங்கள்; பார்வையற்றோர் பார்வையடைகிறார்கள், சப்பாணிகள் நடக்கிறார்கள், குஷ்டரோகிகள் சுத்தமாகிறார்கள், காதுகேளாதோர் கேட்கிறார்கள், மரித்தோர் உயிரோடு எழுந்திருக்கிறார்கள், தரித்திரர்களுக்கு நற்செய்தி பிரசங்கிக்கப்படுகிறது.

So He replied, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.
