அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் யெகோவாவை நோக்கி: “தேவரீர் இந்த மக்களை எங்கள் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தால், அவர்களுடைய பட்டணங்களைச் அழிப்போம்” என்று சபதம் செய்தார்கள்.

So Israel made a vow to the LORD: “If You will deliver this people into our hands, we will devote their cities to destruction.”
