Mash, also known as Meshech, was a son of Aram and a grandson of Shem, the son of Noah. He is mentioned in the genealogies of the descendants of Noah's sons after the flood (Gen.10.23; 1Ch.1.17). The name Mash is used in Genesis, while Meshech is used in 1 Chronicles, referring to the same individual.
