Who has believed our message? Jhn 12:38Rom 10:16-171Co 1:18Jhn 1:12Mat 16:171Co 1:24Mat 11:25Isa 52:10
To whom has the LORD’s arm been revealed?
For he grew up before him as a tender plant, Php 2:6-7Isa 52:14Isa 11:1Jhn 1:10-14Mrk 6:3Ezk 17:22-24Jer 23:5Jhn 19:14-15
and as a root out of dry ground.
He has no good looks or majesty.
When we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
He was despised Jhn 1:10-11Mat 26:67Heb 12:2-3Isa 53:10Isa 49:7Psa 22:6-8Isa 53:4Mrk 14:34
and rejected by men,
a man of suffering
and acquainted with disease.
He was despised as one from whom men hide their face;
and we didn’t respect him.
Surely he has borne our sickness 1Pe 2:24Mat 8:17Gal 3:131Jn 2:21Pe 3:18Isa 53:5-6Heb 9:28Isa 53:11-12
and carried our suffering;
yet we considered him plagued,
struck by God, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions. 1Pe 2:24-251Pe 3:18Mat 20:282Co 5:21Rom 5:6-10Isa 53:10-12Heb 10:14Heb 9:12-15
He was crushed for our iniquities.
The punishment that brought our peace was on him;
and by his wounds we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray. 1Pe 2:251Pe 3:18Psa 119:176Isa 55:7Rom 4:25Rom 3:10-19Jas 5:20Mat 18:12-14
Everyone has turned to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
He was oppressed, Act 8:32-33Mat 26:631Pe 2:23Mrk 14:61Jhn 19:9Mat 27:12-14Luk 23:9Mrk 15:5
yet when he was afflicted he didn’t open his mouth.
As a lamb that is led to the slaughter,
and as a sheep that before its shearers is silent,
so he didn’t open his mouth.
He was taken away by oppression and judgment. 1Pe 3:18Act 8:33Jhn 19:7Mat 26:65-66Jhn 11:49-52Psa 22:12-21Isa 53:12Isa 53:5
As for his generation,
who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living
and stricken for the disobedience of my people?
They made his grave with the wicked, 1Pe 2:22Mat 27:57-601Jn 3:5Mrk 15:43-462Co 5:21Luk 23:50-53Jhn 19:38-42Isa 42:1-3
and with a rich man in his death,
although he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him. 2Co 5:21Rom 8:32Gal 3:13Zec 13:7Eph 1:51Jn 4:9-10Heb 10:6-12Isa 53:3-6
He has caused him to suffer.
When you make his soul an offering for sin,
he will see his offspring.
He will prolong his days
and the LORD’s pleasure will prosper in his hand.
After the suffering of his soul, Rom 5:18-191Pe 2:24Isa 53:4-6Rev 5:9-101Pe 3:18Isa 53:12Jhn 12:27-32Jhn 17:3
he will see the light 1 and be satisfied.
My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself;
and he will bear their iniquities.
Therefore I will give him a portion with the great. Luk 22:37Heb 9:28Luk 23:32-34Mrk 15:271Jn 2:12Col 1:13-141Ti 2:5-6Heb 9:26
He will divide the plunder with the strong,
because he poured out his soul to death
and was counted with the transgressors;
yet he bore the sins of many
and made intercession for the transgressors.
