The LORD said to me, “Go, and buy yourself a linen belt, and put it on your waist, and don’t put it in water.” Heb 1:1Jer 13:11Ezk 4:1-5Jer 19:1Jer 27:2

So I bought a belt according to the LORD’s word, and put it on my waist. Ezk 2:8Isa 20:2Jhn 15:14Pro 3:5Hos 1:2-3Jhn 13:6-7

The LORD’s word came to me the second time, saying, Jer 13:8 “Take the belt that you have bought, which is on your waist, and arise, go to the Euphrates, and hide it there in a cleft of the rock.” Jer 51:63-64Mic 4:10Psa 137:1

So I went and hid it by the Euphrates, as the LORD commanded me. Exo 40:16Exo 39:42-432Ti 2:3Act 26:19-20Heb 11:17-19Heb 11:8Jhn 2:5-8Mat 22:2-6

After many days, the LORD said to me, “Arise, go to the Euphrates, and take the belt from there, which I commanded you to hide there.”

Then I went to the Euphrates, and dug, and took the belt from the place where I had hidden it; and behold, the belt was ruined. It was profitable for nothing. Isa 64:6Rom 3:12Ezk 15:3-5Jer 13:10Jer 24:1-8Luk 14:34-35Phm 1:11Zec 3:3-4
