Job 1

யோபு 1

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job. That man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God, 1 and turned away from evil. Jas 5:11Ezk 14:14Ezk 14:20Job 28:28Job 2:3Gen 6:9Job 1:8Job 23:11-12 There were born to him seven sons and three daughters. Job 42:13Psa 127:3-5Est 5:11Job 13:13Psa 107:38Psa 128:3 His possessions also were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the children of the east. Job 29:25Job 42:12Jdg 6:31Ki 4:30Num 23:7Pro 10:22Gen 12:16Gen 12:5 His sons went and held a feast in the house of each one on his birthday; and they sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. Heb 13:1Psa 133:1 It was so, when the days of their feasting had run their course, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned, and renounced God in their hearts.” Job did so continually. Job 42:8Gen 8:201Sa 16:5Eph 6:18Gen 35:2-3Job 8:41Ki 21:101Ki 21:13

Now on the day when God’s sons came to present themselves before the LORD, 2 Satan also came among them. Job 2:1Job 38:7Zec 3:1Rev 12:9-101Ki 22:191Ch 21:1Gen 6:4Jhn 6:70 The LORD said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” 1Pe 5:8Job 2:2Mat 12:43Rev 12:12-17Rev 12:9Rev 20:82Ki 5:25Zec 1:10-11

Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, “From going back and forth on the earth, and from walking up and down in it.”

The LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant, Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and an upright man, one who fears God, and turns away from evil.” Job 2:3Job 1:1Num 12:7-8Pro 8:132Ki 23:25Isa 1:16Job 8:20Job 23:11-12

Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 1Ti 4:8Mat 16:261Ti 6:6Job 1:21Job 21:14-15Job 2:10Mal 1:10 Haven’t you made a hedge around him, and around his house, and around all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. Psa 34:7Zec 2:51Pe 1:5Deu 28:2-6Pro 10:22Zec 2:8Job 31:25Psa 107:38 But stretch out your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will renounce you to your face.” Job 2:5Job 19:21Rev 16:11Mal 3:13-14Rev 16:21Rev 16:9Gen 26:11Isa 5:25

The LORD said to Satan, “Behold, 3 all that he has is in your power. Only on himself don’t stretch out your hand.” Luk 22:31-322Co 12:7Jhn 3:35-361Co 10:13Jhn 19:11Isa 27:8Job 2:4-7Luk 8:32-33

So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD. It fell on a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, Luk 21:34Pro 27:1Ecc 9:12Luk 17:27-29Job 1:4Luk 12:19-20 that a messenger came to Job, and said, “The oxen were plowing, and the donkeys feeding beside them, 1Sa 4:17Jer 51:312Sa 15:13 and the Sabeans attacked, and took them away. Yes, they have killed the servants with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you.” Gen 10:7Job 6:191Sa 22:20-21Ezk 23:42Gen 10:28Gen 25:3Isa 45:14Job 1:16-17

While he was still speaking, another also came and said, “The fire of God has fallen from the sky, and has burned up the sheep and the servants, and consumed them, and I alone have escaped to tell you.” 2Ki 1:12Gen 19:241Ki 18:38Lev 10:22Ki 1:10Amo 7:4Lev 9:24Num 11:1-3

While he was still speaking, another also came and said, “The Chaldeans made three bands, and swept down on the camels, and have taken them away, yes, and killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you.” Gen 11:28Hab 1:6Gen 11:31Isa 23:132Sa 1:3Job 1:15

While he was still speaking, there came also another, and said, “Your sons and your daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, Job 1:4Job 1:13Lam 1:12Psa 34:192Sa 13:28Amo 4:6-11Ecc 9:2Isa 28:19 and behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young men, and they are dead. Then Job arose, and tore his robe, and shaved his head, and fell down on the ground, and worshiped. 1Pe 5:62Sa 12:16-20Gen 37:34Ezr 9:3Gen 37:29Deu 9:18Mat 26:392Ch 7:3 He said, “Naked I came out of my mother’s womb, and naked will I return there.
