Then Job answered the LORD:
“I know that you can do all things, Mat 19:26Mrk 10:27Gen 18:14Heb 4:12-13Jer 32:17Isa 46:10Eph 1:11Pro 19:21
and that no purpose of yours can be restrained.
You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ Job 38:2Psa 131:1Psa 139:6Psa 40:5Pro 30:2-4
therefore I have uttered that which I didn’t understand,
things too wonderful for me, which I didn’t know.
You said, ‘Listen, now, and I will speak; Job 40:7Job 38:3Gen 18:30-32Gen 18:27
I will question you, and you will answer me.’
I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, Eph 1:17-18Rom 10:17Jhn 12:45Isa 6:1Isa 6:5Jhn 12:41Job 26:14Jhn 1:18
but now my eye sees you.
Therefore I abhor myself, Ezr 9:61Ti 1:13-16Jas 4:7-10Job 40:3-4Dan 9:3Job 30:191Co 15:8-9Est 4:1-3
and repent in dust and ashes.”
It was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has. Job 11:5-6Job 32:2-3Job 32:5Job 2:11Job 4:1Psa 51:4Job 8:1Job 11:1 Now therefore, take to yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept him, that I not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.” Num 23:1Jas 5:161Ch 15:26Gen 20:17Job 22:30Psa 103:10Ezk 14:142Ch 29:21
So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did what the LORD commanded them, and the LORD accepted Job. Heb 11:8Act 9:6Ecc 9:7Mat 7:24Pro 3:11-12Act 10:33Isa 60:14Jhn 2:5
The LORD restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed for his friends. The LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand female donkeys.
