in papyrus vessels on the waters.

Go, swift messengers,

to a people tall and smooth-skinned,

to a people widely feared,

to a powerful nation of strange speech,

whose land is divided by rivers.

All you people of the world Isa 5:26Isa 26:11Mat 13:16Amo 3:6-8Isa 1:2Isa 13:2Isa 13:4Isa 7:18

and dwellers of the earth,

when a banner is raised on the mountains,

you will see it;

when a ram’s horn sounds,

you will hear it.

For this is what the LORD has told me: Hos 5:15Isa 26:21Isa 18:72Sa 23:4Isa 12:6Isa 14:32Psa 132:13-14Hos 14:5

“I will quietly look on from My dwelling place,

like shimmering heat in the sunshine,

like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.”

For before the harvest, when the blossom is gone Isa 17:10-11Sng 2:13Ezk 17:6-10Sng 2:15

and the flower becomes a ripening grape,

He will cut off the shoots with a pruning knife

and remove and discard the branches.

They will all be left to the mountain birds of prey, Jer 7:33Ezk 32:4-6Ezk 39:17-20Isa 14:19Isa 34:1-7Isa 56:9Jer 15:3Rev 19:17-18

and to the beasts of the land.

The birds will feed on them in summer,

and all the wild animals in winter.

At that time gifts will be brought to the LORD of Hosts— Zep 3:10Act 8:27-28Zec 14:16-172Ch 32:23Isa 18:4Isa 45:14Mal 1:11Mic 4:13

to Mount Zion, the place of the Name of the LORD of Hosts.
