The Triumphant Messiah
(Acts 4:23–31)
Why do the nations rage 1 Act 4:25-26Rev 17:14Psa 46:6Psa 21:11Psa 83:4-8Act 17:5-6Mat 21:38Luk 22:22-23
and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth take their stand Mat 26:59Mat 27:1Rev 17:12-14Luk 23:11-12Psa 45:7Act 10:38Pro 21:30Jhn 1:41
and the rulers gather together,
against the LORD
and against His Anointed One: 2
“Let us break Their chains Jer 5:5Luk 19:141Pe 2:7-8Luk 19:27
and cast away Their cords.”
The One enthroned in heaven laughs; Psa 37:13Psa 59:8Pro 1:26Isa 40:22Psa 11:4Isa 57:15Psa 115:3Psa 53:5
the Lord taunts them.
Then He rebukes them in His anger, Isa 11:4Rev 19:15Psa 110:5-6Psa 21:9Psa 78:49-50Luk 19:27Isa 66:6Zec 1:15
and terrifies them in His fury:

I will proclaim the decree Heb 5:5Act 13:33Heb 1:5-6Mat 3:17Mat 17:5Psa 89:27Rom 1:4Jhn 3:16
spoken to Me by the LORD:
“You are My Son;
