மூன்றாம் நாளிலே ஒரு மனிதன் சவுலின் முகாமிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, தன்னுடைய ஆடைகளைக் கிழித்துக்கொண்டு, தன்னுடைய தலையின்மேல் புழுதியைப் போட்டுக்கொண்டு, தாவீதிடம் வந்து, தரையிலே விழுந்து வணங்கினான்.
