Abi-albon, also called Abiel, is mentioned in the lists of David's mighty men in 2Sa.23.31 and 1Ch.11.32. He is described as an Arbathite, indicating that he was from Beth-arabah, a town in the wilderness of Judah. As one of David's mighty men, Abi-albon would have been a skilled warrior who demonstrated exceptional bravery and loyalty to King David. The mighty men were an elite group of soldiers who played a significant role in David's military campaigns and in establishing his kingdom.
