Hashabiah was a Levite who participated in the rebuilding of Jerusalem's wall under Nehemiah's leadership. He, along with the Levites, repaired a section of the wall. This demonstrates Hashabiah's commitment to the restoration of Jerusalem and the importance of the Levites' involvement in this work. (Neh.3.17).
