Some men came down from Judea and taught the brothers, 1 “Unless you are circumcised after the custom of Moses, you can’t be saved.” Gal 5:6Act 15:5Col 2:81Co 7:18-19Gal 2:11-14Lev 12:3Gal 5:1-4Gal 6:13-16 Therefore when Paul and Barnabas had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul, Barnabas, and some others of them to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question. Act 15:22-23Act 15:6-7Gal 2:1-22Co 11:5Act 11:30Act 15:4Gal 1:6-10Gal 2:5 They, being sent on their way by the assembly, passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles. They caused great joy to all the brothers. Act 14:27Act 21:51Co 16:111Co 16:6Act 11:18-19Act 15:12Rom 15:24Tit 3:13 When they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the assembly and the apostles and the elders, and they reported everything that God had done with them. But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.” Gal 5:1-3Act 15:1Php 3:5-8Act 15:24Act 21:20Act 24:5Act 26:5-6

The apostles and the elders were gathered together to see about this matter. Pro 15:22Act 15:25Heb 13:17Heb 13:7Act 15:4Act 21:18Act 6:2Mat 18:20 When there had been much discussion, Peter rose up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that a good while ago God made a choice among you that by my mouth the nations should hear the word of the Good News and believe. All the multitude kept silence, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul reporting what signs and wonders God had done among the nations through them. Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole assembly, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men among the brothers. 4 Act 15:27Act 15:401Pe 5:121Th 1:12Th 1:1Act 1:23Act 15:32Act 18:5 They wrote these things by their hand: Act 23:26Gal 1:21Jas 1:1Act 15:22Rom 16:3-162Jn 1:102Jn 1:132Jn 1:3

“The apostles, the elders, and the brothers, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: greetings. Because we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, ‘You must be circumcised and keep the law,’ to whom we gave no commandment; Gal 5:12Act 15:1Gal 5:10Gal 1:7Tit 1:10-111Jn 2:19Gal 2:3-4Gal 6:12-13 it seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose out men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 2Pe 3:15Act 1:14Act 15:2Act 15:22Luk 1:31Co 1:10Act 15:27-28Act 15:35 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. So, when they were sent off, they came to Antioch. Having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter.
