Praise to the Victorious God
(Jeremiah 51:15–19)
O LORD, You are my God! Exo 15:2Psa 118:28Num 23:19Psa 98:1Psa 40:5Isa 28:29Isa 61:10Eph 1:11
I will exalt You;
I will praise Your name.
For You have worked wonders—
plans formed long ago—
in perfect faithfulness.
Indeed, You have made the city a heap of rubble, Isa 13:22Isa 17:1Isa 25:12Deu 13:16Isa 14:23Isa 21:9Isa 23:13Jer 51:26
the fortified town a ruin.
The fortress of strangers is a city no more;
it will never be rebuilt.
Therefore, a strong people will honor You. Isa 49:23-26Psa 46:10-11Zec 14:16Zec 14:9Ezk 38:23Ezk 39:21-22Isa 13:11Isa 60:10-14
The cities of ruthless nations will revere You.
For You have been a refuge for the poor, Zep 3:12Jas 2:5Isa 32:2Mat 7:25-27Job 5:15-16Psa 12:5Isa 29:19Isa 32:18-19
a stronghold for the needy in distress,
a refuge from the storm,
a shade from the heat.
For the breath of the ruthless
is like rain against a wall,
like heat in a dry land. Isa 54:15-17Dan 11:36-45Dan 7:23-27Ezk 32:18-32Ezk 38:9Isa 10:32-34Isa 10:8-15Isa 13:11
You subdue the uproar of foreigners.
As the shade of a cloud cools the heat,
so the song of the ruthless is silenced.
On this mountain the LORD of Hosts Mat 8:11Jer 31:12-13Psa 63:5Zec 9:16-17Luk 22:30Rev 19:9Heb 12:22Isa 2:2-3
will prepare a banquet for all the peoples,
a feast of aged wine, of choice meat,
of finely aged wine.
On this mountain He will swallow up Eph 4:18Isa 60:1-3Mat 27:512Co 3:13-18Heb 10:19-21Act 17:30Eph 3:5-6Eph 5:8

The Lord GOD will wipe away the tears from every face 2
and remove the disgrace of His people
from the whole earth.
For the LORD has spoken.
And in that day it will be said, “Surely this is our God; Psa 27:14Gen 49:18Mic 7:7Isa 26:8-9Isa 35:2Psa 20:5Rev 1:7Rev 19:1-7
we have waited for Him, and He has saved us.
This is the LORD for whom we have waited.
Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
For the hand of the LORD Amo 2:1-3Isa 18:4Isa 25:6Isa 26:6Jer 48:2Zep 2:9Zep 3:15-17Isa 10:31
