Jesus Appears by the Sea of Tiberias
Later, by the Sea of Tiberias, 1 Jesus again revealed Himself to the disciples. “We will go with you,” they said. So they went out and got into the boat, but caught nothing that night.

“No,” they answered.

Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it) and jumped into the sea. Jesus told them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.” So Simon Peter went aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many, the net was not torn. Luk 5:6-8Act 2:41
“Come, have breakfast,” Jesus said to them. None of the disciples dared to ask Him, “Who are You?” They knew it was the Lord. This was now the third time that Jesus appeared to the disciples after He was raised from the dead. Jhn 20:26Jhn 20:19
Jesus and Peter

“Yes, Lord,” he answered, “You know I love You.”
Jesus replied, “Feed My lambs.”

“Yes, Lord,” he answered, “You know I love You.”
Jesus told him, “Shepherd My sheep.”

Peter was deeply hurt that Jesus had asked him a third time, “Do you love Me?”
“Lord, You know all things,” he replied. “You know I love You.”
Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

And after He had said this, He told him, “Follow Me.”
Jesus and the Beloved Disciple
Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them. He was the one who had leaned back against Jesus 5at the supper to ask, “Lord, who is going to betray You?” Jhn 21:7Jhn 20:2Jhn 21:24Jhn 13:23-26 When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” Luk 13:23-24Act 1:6-7Mat 24:3-4
Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you? You follow Me!” Rev 2:25Rev 3:11Mrk 9:1Mat 16:27-281Co 4:51Co 11:26Jas 5:7Jhn 21:19 Because of this, the rumor spread among the brothers that this disciple would not die. However, Jesus did not say that he would not die, but only, “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you?” Deu 29:29Job 33:13Dan 4:35Act 1:15Job 28:28
